Estate Administration

We guide executors and administrators through the full Pennsylvania probate process — from filing the petition at the Register of Wills, through inventory and accounting, to final distribution.

What We Handle

Opening, settling, and closing an estate.

When a loved one passes, the legal process of settling their affairs can feel overwhelming. Our firm has guided hundreds of families through Pennsylvania estate administration, handling the procedure so the family can attend to one another.

  • Filing the Petition

We prepare and file the petition for probate at the Register of Wills in the appropriate county, securing Letters Testamentary or Letters of Administration.

  • Inventory & Accounting

We identify and inventory estate assets, prepare the required inventories, and maintain detailed accountings throughout the administration.

  • Creditor Notice

We handle publication of notice to creditors and manage claims against the estate in accordance with Pennsylvania law.

  • Tax Returns

Preparation and filing of the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return (REV-1500) and federal estate tax returns where required.

  • Distribution

We prepare the final accounting, obtain court approval, and oversee the orderly distribution of estate assets to beneficiaries.

We file the petition for probate, secure Letters Testamentary or of Administration, and obtain the EIN.

  3. 03

    Inventory & notice

We inventory assets, notify beneficiaries and creditors, and publish notice as Pennsylvania law requires.

  4. 04

    Forward path

You receive a written plan with timing, anticipated tax exposure, and a fee estimate before further work begins.
